Emergency alerts
Take every screen in the building, in seconds
An alert is not a slide added to a playlist. It interrupts whatever is on screen, holds for exactly as long as you set, and hands the screen back.
Four priorities decide what may interrupt what. An emergency outranks everything and yields only to another emergency. Several sent at once queue and play in turn, each for its own duration, with a defined gap between them — not whichever arrives last winning.
On Android the alert covers other applications, so a television running a news channel from someone else’s app is interrupted too. Recall pulls an alert back from every screen that has not finished with it.

- Four priorities with deterministic interruption rules
- Per-alert duration, or hold until recalled
- Targets one screen, a group, or the whole estate
